POSITION SUMMARY

Glass Roots Construction (GRC), founded in 2022 by a team of telecom and construction professionals, is seeking a Zoho Platform & Applications Architect to help drive operational excellence and support our rapid growth. As a growing utility construction firm, GRC leverages cutting-edge technologies and data-driven processes to streamline fiber optic infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and optimizing the Zoho One suite (including CRM, Contracts, Projects, and others), enabling our teams to manage sales, operations, forecasting, and reporting efficiently.

This role requires a strong background in data management, system integration, and process automation. The Zoho Platform & Applications Architect will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership to support effective workflows and ensure accurate data flows across departments. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Zoho Platform & Applications Architect is responsible for overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of Zoho and other applications used across the company. Duties and responsibilities include:

●       Translate business needs into system workflows and dashboards.

●       Administer and support Zoho applications across the business, including CRM, Projects, Contracts, and others

●       Customize modules, fields, workflows, and automations in Zoho apps to support operations, HR, finance, and compliance.

●       Integrate Zoho with third-party systems and APIs to improve data flow and communication.

●       Deliver training to internal users and create user guides, walkthroughs, and SOP documentation.

●       Monitor and maintain system performance, user access controls, and data integrity.

●       Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making.

●       Work with leadership to create standardized processes and scalable systems.

●       Stay up to date with Zoho platform updates and introduce new tools or features when applicable.

●       Troubleshoot issues, respond to user support needs, and implement fixes or improvements.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

●     3–7 years of verifiable experience managing and configuring Zoho applications.

●     Deep understanding of Zoho ecosystem, especially CRM.

●     Strong data management skills and experience with workflow automation and reporting.

●     Experience with Zoho Deluge scripting or similar low-code platforms.

●     Proven ability to translate strategy into operational systems.

●     Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to adapt to evolving business needs.

●     Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to train and support team members.

●     Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities or projects at once.

●     Self-starter who can identify inefficiencies and implement improvements proactively.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

●     Zoho Admin certification or equivalent experience.

●     Experience with third-party integrations and APIs.

●     Background in compliance, governance, or utility construction a plus.

●     Understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance processes.

●     Experience with data visualization tools (Zoho Analytics, Power BI, etc.)

●     Familiarity with Google Suite, sheets, and project management tools (like Asana or Trello).

●     Experience creating SOPs, process documentation, and system maps.


Requirements:

●        Candidates must reside in the United States and be able to work within the U.S. Mountain or Pacific Time Zones

●        Must be fluent in English—spoken, written, and in professional communication.
